Meet Dr Teppa
Dr Teppa
Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, Dr. Teppa obtained his dental degree from Santa Maria University. After practicing for a couple of years in Venezuela, Dr. Teppa was driven to further his education in the United States. He was one of three candidates accepted into a highly competitive research program in Cleveland Ohio. There, he completed a research fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic/Case Western University School of Dental Medicine. During his program, Dr. Teppa was involved in multiple projects and clinical trials that spanned all areas of Oral surgery. Dr. Teppa had the opportunity to work with other residents, performing and assisting in surgical procedures ranging from dental implants to head and neck cancer under in/outpatient settings, as well as in the operating room.
After 2 years as a research fellow, he decided to pursue another Dental degree in order to practice in the United States. Upon completion of his degree, and after practicing in Ohio for an additional two years, he opted to move to Texas, making Houston his home.
When he is not in the clinic taking care of his patients, Dr Teppa enjoys exploring the city’s diverse food scene, spending time with friends and family and his four legged son, “Trapper”!
